This section affects mostly civil personnel and whenever they're permitted to shoot at others, combatives are waived and may utilize weaponry outside of self defense.
Civil Personnel are permitted to defend theirs, other Foundation civil personnel's lives from Hostiles or fellow civil personnel under these regulations.
The firearms that the shooter is acting with is permitted for use, meaning they have gained it lawfully.
There are no combative personnel capable or around to respond to the threat.
Infectious anomalies may be shot at even in the event of combative personnel being around you however this should be left to them and shooting should only be as a last resort.
A Class-D or hostile is pointing a weapon at you, shooting at you or other civil personnel or inflicting physical damage to you.
Any Foundation Personnel shooting at you illegally, either outside of self defense or departmental regulations.
Civils in general are not meant to fire their weapons without reason outside of these, so that confusion may be avoided. They may brandish their weapons however must not do so around Security Class-4 Personnel or anyone under the protection of Sentinel-4.
Combative Personnel may utilize their weapons to enforce their own regulations and when they are to utilize a weapon against a Class-D under Part 2, Chapter 3: Termination Criteria, or if a scientific test requires them to be injured or killed.
During Breach protocol, Epsilon-1 is permitted to shoot at personnel under the rank of Security Class-4 in the event they are interfering with containment efforts.
During Raid protocol, Mobile Task Forces and Security Detachments are permitted to fire at personnel under the rank of Security Class-4 in the event that they are interfering with operations.
During any protocol, Mobile Task Force Theta-2 and the Security Response Unit are permitted to pick up and use weapons off the ground. Other combatives may pick up weapons to prevent them being stolen however not use them.
During Any protocol, Mobile Task Force Sentinel-4 may utilize their weapons in a proper manner to protect their executives, they are permitted to kill however must be reasonable.
